Flying home to be with his Valentine, Lanza’s plane is forced to divert to Aotearoa due to engine trouble and inclement weather. Landing in Rotorua a despondent Mario meets Aotearoa’s first recording star, local legend Ana Hato. Together they embark on unique and magical musical collaboration –

as long as the plane remains grounded. No one did romance like Lanza and in this Valentine’s Day fantasy prepare to swoon to favourites like ‘Be my Love’ and ‘Because you’re mine’  and Hato hits like  ‘Akoako i te Rangi’  ‘Waiata Poi’ and more…

'Muliaumaseali’i enters the stage with such pizazz and charisma that one cannot help but swoon with delight as he charms and beguiles -  One thing for sure, we need to see more of him on our stages!'  Theatre Review NZ Full review here

We made history this pandemic year, when I conceived

Richard Wagner's  RING CYCLE . As a concert with movement

the undertaking was met with huge acclaim both critically and

by the audiences.

I sang Siegfried in the titular opera and in also in Götterdämmerung,

I directed, produced, choreographed and cast the entire cycle too!

It was wonderful.

Following on from the success of our 2019 concert Siegfried The Wagner Blade, GAFA are going three better presenting Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle, Der Ring des Nibelungen in its four opera entirety.

'Wagner's Nordic saga of power, greed, love and the curse of the coveted ring intertwines like the Rhine with Pacific mythology and history.

Maestro Stephen Anthony Brown with the Rosenau Sinfonia leads a talented cast of Wagnerian singers from across the globe.
