Sani made his Sydney Opera House debut as 'Sportin Life' in Porgy and Bess in 1995, in the first ever staging of the Gershwin Opera in Australia. Alongside him was bass baritone brother Eddie who sang Jake.
It was another family affaire 20 years later for in the sold out, black tie gala audience were his siblings and their partners. 'The Polynesian prescence at this event was huge - both on stage and off - and rightly so Auckland is the biggest Polynesian city in the universe!' says the London based Tenor.
Sani will shortly return to London to remount his play Kava Girls which has been selected for the Origins Festival in June 2015. He is booked to further develop his writing at the Royal Court and will again direct and produce for his company the GAFA Arts Collective. 'Singing will always be my first love' Once a singer always a singer.
